Who these terms cover
These terms apply to this website and to the SunTim Softwares desktop products you download from it — PDF Import, Tally Reporting and Billing Invoice. By creating an account, starting a trial or purchasing a licence, you agree to them.
Your licence
A licence is issued against your Tally Serial Number and permits use of the product with that Tally installation. Within one licence you may configure as many bank accounts, branches and banks as you need — you do not need a separate licence per bank account. The licence is not a sale of the software itself; it is a right to use it for the period you have paid for.
Free trial
The trial runs for 7 days from the day the key is issued, requires no card, and is a fully working version of the product. When the 7 days end, the product stops working until a paid licence is applied. You can see the plans at any time.
Subscription periods and pricing
Paid licences are sold for fixed periods — monthly, yearly, two years or three years. The price shown at checkout is what you are charged, inclusive of GST. Prices may change for future purchases; a change never affects a period you have already paid for.
Acceptable use
Please do not share, resell or redistribute your product key, or attempt to circumvent the licensing in the software. Keys are cryptographically signed and tied to your Tally Serial Number, so a shared key will not work elsewhere — and use of a key outside the licence it was issued under may result in it being revoked.
Your data and your responsibilities
Our products write vouchers into your own Tally company on your own computer. Keeping current backups of that Tally data before and during any import is your responsibility, as it would be for any change to your books. We recommend reviewing imported entries — particularly anything the software places in a suspense ledger for review — before treating a period as closed. Updates
The desktop products check for and install updates automatically so that you stay on a current release. Updates may add, change or retire features.
